His life is guided by three key principles: Acceptance, Responsibility, and Integrity – making sure everything, from the lab results to his ethics, is top-notch.

Jyotirmoy Pakhira

Introducing Mr. Jyotirmoy, the man with his feet firmly planted in the soil (quite literally). As the Director of Assets at BPC India, he has a knack for geo-mechanics that’s second to none. He’s the go-to guy for assembling site-specific geotechnical equipment and getting to the root of problems – all while ensuring instruments work like a charm. Whether it’s for highway, traffic, or geophysical engineering, Jyotirmoy has his hands full supporting logistics for investigations.

Meet Mr. Appuraj, the dynamic force behind BPC India’s technical department. A proud graduate of IIEST Shibpur, he brings his expertise in designing, planning, and profile finalisation to the railway and highway sectors. Not only does he manage to maintain excellent relationships with clients, but he also knows how to lead his team with the precision of a well-engineered railway track. After over ten years at the company, he’s mastered the art of building new business – and when he’s not doing that, you’ll find him indulging in some sporty activities.

Sumanta Pakhira

Mr. Sumanta, the man with over 15 years of experience in geotechnical exploration, and a mind as solid as the bridges and tunnels he’s so familiar with. He’s the expert when it comes to in-situ assessments and field soil investigations, especially in those tricky landslide-prone areas. Always keen to learn something new, Sumanta is constantly adding to his already impressive skill set. He’s not just about the work, though – he knows that a healthy balance is key, so alongside his projects, he makes sure to invest time in his personal well-being. Work hard, play hard – that’s his motto!

Ramkrishna Santra

Meet Mr. Ramkrishna, the energetic force behind BPC India’s project and vendor management. With over 12 years of experience, he oversees everything from field borehole drilling to time-estimated field supervision in geotechnical activities. Always intrigued by electrical circuits (because why not mix geology with a little bit of tech?), Ramkrishna’s also a people person who liaises with clients to ensure successful execution of Highway and Geotechnical projects. A man with great responsibility - and a few electrical sparks of curiosity along the way!

With a deep love for Geotechnical Engineering, he’s an expert at conducting real-time analysis and interpreting tests on everything from rocks to concrete.
